The aim of the competition is to collect 1000's of beanies to be donated to the Samaritan's Purse Australia for their Operation Christmas Child. For more information on this worthy cause visit http://www.samaritanspurse.org.au/.

The beanies will be packed in a shoebox with other useful things and sent all over SE Asia to under-privileged children.

Those who enter must donate the beanie(s) they make to this charity and from these beanies the winners will be judged.

Beanies can be made of any yarn and can be knitted or crocheted and can be from infants to adult sizes.

Each beanie submitted must have a label of cardboard attached with a safety pin to it with your name, address and phone number on it.

Winners will be notified by mail by 20th December,2006.

Judges decision will be final. No correspondence will be entered into.
